Senator Franken

It has been joked about and referenced to on AAR's The Al Franken Show for almost a year now. Should/would/could Al Franken run for Senator in the state of Minnesota? News surfaced a little bit ago that Sen. Mark Dayton of Minnesota will not seek another term which will leave his seat up for grabs. In a Senate that has 17 republican seats and 15 democratic seats up for the taking in the 2006 elections, these could be some of the most important elections of our times.
