Democracy in Crisis: An Interview With Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

By Fancy Pants Elitist at 8:31 PM

First of all, my dear Marion, I had reasons for waiting, because of things I don't need to go into here, so I wasn't *LAZY* - far from it, I've been working my tail feathers off :P

Anyway, that being said, I'm posting it now. So unwad your panties :)

This was originally posted on The Brad Blog

"The Republican Party, the Republican National Committee, has been using old-fashioned, Jim Crow, apartheid-type maneuvers to steal the last two national elections."
– Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Recently, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., (bio) , wrote the article: "Was the 2004 Election Stolen" where he examined the election fraud in Ohio that took place during the last Presidential Election. He also has written a book "Crimes Against Nature: How George W. Bush & His Corporate Pals Are Plundering the Country and Hijacking our Democracy". Mr. Kennedy, along with Mike Papantonio have filed a "qui tam" lawsuit against some of the voting machines companies, in an effort to save our Democracy.

I've long had a deep respect for Robert F. Kennedy for his dedicated work as an environmental advocate. Tom and I enjoyed interviewing him and were moved by his passion and dedication to our country and our Democracy. We spoke to him via phone at his office at Pace University's Environmental Litigation Clinic in White Plains, New York, which he founded, about the election of 2004. This was an experience to remember…

No good news for AAR/WLIB

By Marion Delgado at 3:49 AM

Maron turned down hosting his third show after 2 cancellations and a coast to coast move and a huge pay cut.

Janeane is leaving Majority Report. Sam says one reason was schudule and monotony.

The new owner of WLIB may kick them out - it's always been tension with the old Caribbean WLIB after midnite anyway

Ratings are still good, but al franken is expected to drift away within a year.

of all the great innovative shows none are left - no morning sedition, no majority report in its original form, no unfiltered.

AAR is still a good source of morning news and people like randi and mike are decent sources of op-eds and news. Sam Seder still has a strong show and thom hartmann is a great syndication find.

The weekend shows are coming on strong, especially radio nation with laura flanders, ring of fire with rfk jr and mike papantonio, and politically direct.

still, things have looked better.

My own personal opinion: much of the fun and purpose of Majority Report was lost in november of 2004. Clearly janeane had a strong feeling of why are we bothering to do this ever since.
