Irresponsible Journalism

   By PoliticalGeek at 1:11 PM

Yesterday thousands took to the streets of Washington, D.C. to protest the Inauguration. Unfortunately CBS, ABC,and NBC all down played it by reporting hundreds of protestors in the Washington, D.C. area and along the parade route. Anyone that saw the coverage first hand on CSPAN 2 knows very well that there were thousands of protestors at the ANSWER Demonstration alone and thousands more along the parade route. I am sick of the media not covering events such as this responsibly. Regardless of who the president is or who signs their paychecks the media still owes it to the people of this country to give us the whole truth. They are running scared from the current administration and going against their own professional codes of ethics. If they can not see fit to report the truth and quit downplaying any story that may be critical of the President and the administration then they should find another field to work in. This country needs a balanced media where both sides are told and not one where it's just about positive news for the President..

I totaly aggree...

But good luck changing them..

now everyone open your history textbooks, to page 101. See there, durring the reign of the nazis in germany. The media was encouraged to "self censor" anything that might be critical of the party. Compliance was rewarded, those who did not comply were throw in "camps", had their printing presses demolished...ECT...
Seems as tho the current administration, is taking a page from the nazis, and encouraging self censorship, I mean that CBS story, quashed any further discussion of the boy kings NATL GUARD service, didn't it?!!!
so not only is it self censorship, but a blatent action to assure that the subject would never be brought up in any reputable news source.

I saw a picture on AAR website that sums up, what amerika has become, in one word...."SAD"
